We limit our practice to representing people who have suffered serious bodily injuries or the loss of a loved one. Concentrating in these areas has helped us gain cumulative knowledge of the problems that arise when a family member is injured or killed. This knowledge has armed us with insights that have proven extremely valuable to the people we represent.

You are entitled to compensation if you have suffered an injury or the loss of a family member as the result of someone’s negligence. Whether that "someone" is a drunk driver, a hospital or a major corporation, we will use every legal means available to maximize the value of your claim and to obtain money damages for you in the highest possible amount. Over 90% of our clients recover money damages in amounts ranging from modest sums to millions of dollars.

About the Firm

Cases successfully handled by the firm have involved injuries ranging from burns and dog bites to birth trauma. We have represented clients injured by defective products as well as victims of medical and dental malpractice. We have settled cases to the full satisfaction of clients hurt in virtually every type of vehicular mishap including automobile, truck, motorcycle and boat accidents. Chances are your situation will not be totally unique to us.

Confronted with a difficult case, an inexperienced attorney may be inclined to settle out of court - for far less money than you deserve. The Plymale Partnership, LLP is not intimidated by tough cases. We are experienced jury trial lawyers and we will aggressively seek a trial if that is in your best interest. We have represented clients at all levels of the Ohio court system, including the Ohio Supreme Court and Federal Courts.

The Establishment of Our Law Firm

Plymale and Associates became the Plymale Partnership in 2002.

Ron Plymale started his legal career in 1968. After working for various firms and local community government, he started his own practice in 1973. As his firm grew, Ron added various attorneys to assist him. In 1992 Michael Geiser was hired as an associate. Mike had worked as a clerk for the firm while completing his law degree at The Ohio State University. In May, 1993, Ron hired Andrew Cecil. Andy had been with a local insurance defense firm representing clients such as Nationwide, Allstate, Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) and Walmart, among others.

In 1997 Mike and Andy were made partners in the firm, then known as Plymale and Associates. Since 1997 the firm has made a concentrated effort to not only assist Ohioans but also educate the citizens regarding their rights. The firm has engaged in sending free brochures, upon request, outlining one’s legal rights after an automobile accident. Lawyers in the firm have been speakers at seminars and written articles on various topics pertaining to issues that affect our clients and the general public alike. Our attorneys have also been guest speakers at local high schools to discuss the dangers of drinking and driving. All of this has been conducted at the firm’s expense, both in time and in money. All of these activities have been undertaken with the hope of helping to educate Ohioans.

In addition to continuing the goal of educating the public about legal rights and young drivers of the dangers associated with operating an automobile, the attorneys have distinguished themselves within the legal community. Since the establishment of Plymale Partnership, attorneys on our staff have gained professional recognition including membership in the Million Dollar Forum, Certification by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, designation as a Super Lawyer by Cincinnati Monthly and induction into the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers Trial College Hall of Fame.

The firm changed the name to The Plymale Partnership in 2002. The name change was made to reflect the firm make-up, to allow for the retirement of Ron Plymale and to accurately reflect the “partnership” relationship between the firm and its clients. Since 2003, Mike and Andy have been the managing partners. Both continue to represent clients as well as work with the associates of the firm. The firm continues to represent only injured persons and concentrates on serious personal injury claims.
